FSC Preston Montford has been an outdoor classroom since 1957 and is a Field Studies Council centre. We deliver curriculum related outdoor education by the experts; from pre-school to Masters level; for infants, school students, undergraduates and enquiring adults with an interest in the natural world. Courses for schools and individuals. A venue for others to use; with bed space for 130, catering facilities and 7 fully equipped teaching and meeting spaces.

Incredible Growing Beds at Preston Montford

Growth of some Incredible Edible beds at FSC Preston Montford in 2013
We are using a garden border outside Caradoc classroom which wasn't previous used for growing food. It began in March but planting and growth were held up by the bad weather.
Beds set up by Community Payback group on a cold March Sunday

Volunteer gardener has worked hard to get things started and by early June some growth was coming through
June 13th 2013
The following week saw a major growth spurt

We are looking forward to eating something from the beds later in the year
